  This resort can be booked through RCI or independently. The use of pine gives the units a cottage atmosphere. However they are not secluded and are built as attached townhouses. There is great hunting and fishing in the area and local guides available. There are trails for hiking, skiing, sledding or quading. There is also a ski mountain right around the corner. In the warmer months there is a motor park close by where you can watch or participate in racing. It can also be used as a home base if you want to see everything Ottawa has to offer but not stay in the city. There is a games room, park for kids, tennis court and indoor swimming pool with a view.

  This was my first time at the lodge .. but surely I will be coming back. The atmosphere was amazing ..the amenities were great.. the units had everything we needed.. we didnt want to leave ..

  Would have been nice if the pool was a little warmer and the hot tub was clean other than that nice amenities beautiful hotel room great king size bed

  We have been coming here for over 20 years and it just feels like home. Three generations enjoying the pool, hot tub and the relaxing atmosphere.

  This was our second time staying at Calabogie Resort. We had a great time. The staff were very pleasant and went above and beyond for us. They didn't have a baby swing in the playground and I asked them if maybe they had one kicking around in storage. They didn't but went out and bought one! My daughter was thrilled as was I as she asked everyday to go to the swing. The unit was clean and spacious. The reason I am not giving them a 5 star is due to the water completely shutting off twice when I was in the shower. I informed the front desk and they said they would have maintenance look into it. I was also disappointed in the fact that they only have 1 BBQ per building and it was awkward to get to especially with meat on a plate. I strongly suggest that they invest in more BBQ's. Also I was very disappointed to find out that they only have 1 fire pit for the lodge and it's on the beach. Would be really really nice if they had a couple per building-there's tons of space for it. All that being said I will be back again. Hopefully some of my recommendations will be considered to make this resort even better.
