Also can't pass up the opportunity to say how wonderful the owners are. Valerie saved us from getting stuck without gas at night by refilling our tank! Phew. And helped us when we were in need of some caffeine. Just fantastic.

This place is seriously magical! We absolutely fell in love with it and hope to be able to go back again during a different season (maybe to see the resort's world-renowned ice sculptures). Our group of four 30-something adults enjoyed the quiet, the astounding views, the hiking trails, the campfire at night under the stars and the smell of fresh air early in October. And many more things. The fireplace in the cottage....the comfy beds...having all the cooking implements one could possibly need...this place has it all! And a great history too!
